The Role
As CG Supervisor at Untold Studios you will work closely with VFX Leadership and Heads of Department to plan and execute the CG requirements across a broad range of projects. You will be involved early in the bidding and planning and supervise the CG on the show through its execution and delivery.
In this role you will be a guiding force in the growth and development of the Artist team at Untold Studios. As a respected leader you keep yourself and your teams highly motivated. You are solutions driven and love analysing and solving problems. You have a history of delivering creative VFX work of the highest calibre and leading projects from beginning to end
You have a deep working knowledge of a range of industry standard workflows and software and provide creative and technical support to your teams. You apply new technologies when applicable making sure that we are at the forefront of technical innovation.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Managing all aspects of the execution of the CG on your show, from methodologies, scheduling through to execution and the hand over to Compositing
Work closely with the Compositing Supervisor on your show ensure a smooth handover from CG to Compositing
Effectively managing expectations both internally, and work with the VFX Supervisor or Creative Director for client side expectations on your show
Working with the Heads of our CG departments and Pipeline to make sure studio-approved methodologies are either used or extended on your project
Work with VFX Supervisors, Creative Directors and Production on your project to ensure team tasks are set up for creative success in a timely manner
Regularly review artist work and provide feedback and direction where needed
Working closely with Producers and Coordinators to manage schedules
The ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time efficiently
Collaborating with Clients and Directors to create an environment that breeds the highest quality work
Mentoring artists through a project and beyond.
Being an ambassador for Untold Studios, through attending industry events, producing publications, public speaking and outreach opportunities.

Salary range $150k - $260k
Compensation will vary based on experience, seniority, and skill set within this band
