The Role

You will be the Lead Technologist in our New York studio and the senior-most technologist on site and the main point of contact for Technology in NY.

You will own the New York side of the studio's technology platform: the on-prem office infrastructure and its connection into our existing cloud environment, Autodesk Flame Review Rooms, artist cloud experience, storage, security and compliance. Alongside this, you'll contribute to studio-wide requirements for licensing and capacity planning and working with the Heads of Technology and Lead Technologists in LA, London and Toronto. When projects of significant scope or strategic nature land in New York, you'll partner directly with studio leadership.

You have in-depth technical knowledge and are driven to work in a forward-thinking, innovative Technology department. You are a highly motivated problem solver who thrives on owning issues end-to-end, you bring great ideas, and you have the skills to deliver them.

What you'll own (New York)

• On-prem infrastructure: WiFi, VPNs, networking, IO line, CCTV, and NUC provisioning/automation

• Review rooms: calibration, displays, audio and colour-managed playback

• Managing Flame setups

• Cloud-to-office connectivity for NY

• Vendor coordination, performance debugging and local capacity

• Security: site audits, VPNs, firewalls, and compliance for the NY site

What you'll contribute to (studio-wide)

• Render farm: cross-site capacity and US-region rendering

• Flame: build, test and performance

• Licensing: US-region and TPN-driven constraints

• Capacity planning, jointly with Lead Technologists across the studio

Leadership

• Lead the NY Technology function and represent it within the studio

• Build relationships with current and future suppliers, particularly US-East coast vendors

• Represent Untold at industry events on the US-East coast

• Partner with Senior Management on initiatives of significant scale

Salary Range: $130,000-$160,000 USD
